Hello ladies and happy fri-YAY! Does anyone have any fun plans?
I am pretty sure that most you will be staying home and staying safe during the pandemic. And now that there is a rise of Corona virus cases in South Florida. Our family will be sheltering at home for the rest of the summer. The beaches along with dine-in resturants, gyms, and bars are now closed again here in Miami. Although a resugence of the first wave of the virus is happening in our cities. I am keeping a postive outlook and doing what I can to ensure that the kids are also in happy spirits. But being at home for so many hours a day has got me having to find new ways to entertain the kids and simplify life at home. With the help of Amazon of course! Over the past couple of months I have searched Amazon for fashion, outdoor kids activities, and home organization items in order to to make this summer pandemic at home more bearable.

Women’s Fashion
The beaches may be closed but that doesn’t mean I won’t be wearing a swimsuit. It’s hot in South Florida and with more pool time on the agenda I have been on the search for a summer bikini cover up. I was so excited when I came across this affordable white open front bikini cover up. Not only is it the perfect summer bikini coverup it’s under $25!
You can’t enough white tee’s right? I can’t anyways. This padded tee has been floating around some of my favorite IG fashion feeds. Why I love it so much? Biker shorts have been all the rage this summer among the moms and fashionista of instagram. Since I was going to be home I thought I jump on this trend and get myself a pair. After searching a few sites I came across these dusty pink biker short on Amaon for only $10 and it comes in a variety of colors. The material is soft and strecthy for lounging around the house with the littles.
Men’s Fashion
Summer means tons of pool time! We will be celebrating my son’s 6th birthday this month with a pool party that is dinosaur themed. These men’s dino swim trunks are perfect for dad and fit the theme of the party. Do you like dressing for the theme of a party?
Now that mmy husband has gone back at work he needed an afforadble pair of running shoes to match his uniform. This navy blue pair are light weight and have with stood tons of running on gravel, turf and lawn with no show of major detoration. If your looking for a affordable running shoe then these are perfect and under $40!
Outdoor Activities
Summer is offically upon us! Now combine the heat in South Florida, kids cooped up indoors, a small back yard and no pool. I needed help to get through the rest of the summer so that is why I went on a search for this 90″ X 90″ X 26″ inflatable family pool. It fits perfectly in our small backyard, has four seats and two beverage holders so you don’t have to keep getting out of the pool. The kids have been enjoying splashing and making an obstabcle course out our legs. I can see us spending lots of family time in this inflatable pool.
Home Essentials
If you follow along on my Instgram then you know that my husband is a chef and is always creating something delishous for us to try. As a result our spice cabinet began to look a little crazy and needed some organiation. During quarantine we tried to clean out and organize one space a day when time permitted. The spice cabinet was recently tackled. Which is why we needed to find an afforabale solution to help us get it organized. This stackable spice rack was under $40 and has been a life saver at creating more space for the chef.
This one is for all my coffee lovers out there! My original hand held milk frother broke so I needed to replace it. A few months ago I found this Bean Envy milk frother and fell in love. During quarantine my son dropped that milk frother in the sink and it stopped working. I ended up having to replace it again. This time I ordered two in black, it is that one house hold gaget that gets used daily. It also comes in blue or red and is under $15! This is one of my ultimate Amazon favorites!
If you are a candle lover then your gonna love this rechargeable ligther. It comes in a package of two with a USB be rechargeable cord and in is under $25. What I love about this rechargeable ligther is the flexible head that allows you to get to the very bottom of your candles which we know most of time gets thrown out. It’s also safer when you curious little hands that want to do everything you do.
In an attempt to get our spaces a bit more organized I picked up these Rae Dunn insipred kitchen labels. So far I have been able to use them to organize a kids learning activies area in our family room. I have even spruced up our coffee nook now the coffee, sugar, tea all have there very own labeled container. They are clear preprinted labels that are water resistant which is great for organizing your kitchen, pantry and home office areas. They have been so helpful at getting things to stay in there designated spaces especially during a time when were home all the time and I am picking up constanstly.
