Black & Olive

Simple colors like black and olive are a great base to start with.  You can make it chic or edgy.  I went for edgy with my triangle shaped earring, the spiked antiqued gold bracelet and neutral belt and wedges.
Went into the city center today and Vrijthof is bustling with people buying costumes and all the lighting and audio guys setting up for the Carnival here this weekend.  It will be interesting to see since it is different from Caribbean and Latin carnivals that I am use to.  Will take lots of pictures to share with you.
Enjoy!
