Then look no further, The Museum of Discovery and Science is hosting an ADULTS – only event The Discovery After Dark: “MODS Makes” will happen Thursday evening, November 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
When I first heard about this adults-only event I thought it would make a great date night for us that is not your typical dinner and movie. It is totally out of the box and a refeshing date night idea for couples that re looking for something interesting. If you like to get interactive and learn a little sceince while your enjoying each other’s company. I encourange you to head on our the the Museum of Discovery and Science for a night filled with socializing, creation and collaborate with hands-on STEM experiences, augmented reality and Magic Leap Technology. Since this a kid free event continue enjoying your date night with adult beverages and delicious bites. Guests will also get to explore The Hangar, MODS’ new, high-tech Makerspace, located in the remastered and expanded To Fly Aviation Exhibit Hall.
Tickets are $20 for Museum Members and $25 for Non-Members. Tickets include one drink ticket, exhibit exploration, and science demonstrations. MODS after dark event is a great way to experience the museum in a whole new way. If your a parent that has taken your kids during the daytime but would like a night out and love the musuem then this is a perfect date night you. If you have never been to the musuem and would like to see it sans the daytime crowds MODS after dark offers one of the best experiences for a night at the museum.

The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) was founded in 1976 as The Discovery Center, today MODS is at the forefront of science education, innovation and exploration. MODS is open every day of the year, except Thanksgiving, one day in the fall for the Annual Gala (October 26, 2019) and one day in the spring for its Annual Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration (March 13, 2020).
