2 Simple ways to wear Autumn's trendy snakeskin print

On trend this autumn/fall has been a snake skin print, I found there are some many trendy options to choose from when it comes to this print including blouses, shoes to hand bags.  Updating my wardrobe was not in the budget instead I shopped my own closet were I found this blue snake skin print hi-low dress from last summer.  Since I have been de-cluttering my closets donating, fixing, and selling some pieces while also finding ways to transition some of what I already own into fall ready outfits.

With the Autumn/Fall trend in mind I paired this flirty dress with my trusty chambray button up however it’s still warm in Fort Lauderdale so I rolled up the sleeves and tied a knot in front to accentuate my waist.  I wore this to the museum with the kids and knew I would be chasing after them so I opted for my mustard slides that contrast with the blue tones of the snake skin print.

For a night out look that’s also very simple but modern with monochromatic blue from head to toe.  I choose to stay with the blue color tone so I changed the top to a blue t-shirt that I knotted at the waist and pulled off the shoulder.  Adding a vintage broach not only keeps fabric off your shoulder but dresses it up.  (A style tip that I picked up from one of my favorite bloggers}.  To bring the look together I added blue peek a boo booties which added some height for a petite girl like myself.

What I like about this night out look is the subtle hints of skin with the off the shoulder, the higher hem line in front and the toes peeking all for some sexiness without being too much.   It’s perfect for a date night out with your spouse or a girls night out of drinks and dancing.
