If you know me you know that I am an active stay at home mom. So when it comes to style I aim to find easy go to outfits that fit my everyday mom lifestyle. For as long as I can remember I have loved a great pairs of JEANS! I love dress to them up with a sleek heel and blazer or go causal with a white tee and sneakers. So I thought it would be fun to share with you all a series of outfits where I incorporate denim into my daily looks. These are all looks that I have worn over the past couple of weeks and some I even have on repeat. Most of these looks I have created with things that I already own and can’t wait to share them with you in the few weeks.
Like any woman I have tried on my share of jeans and have a couple that I LOVE so much they are on regular rotation, I’m sure you do too! I want to share fun real life outfit ideas with you that change-up the basic jean. However jeans are not the only way to wear denim fabric in your everyday style. I hope that I inspire you to create similar outfits using items from your own closet.
And while, I love creating trendy and runway inspired looks, let’s be real that just does not fit into my stay at home mom lifestyle. Looking stylish while staying on budget is my goal when creating these outfits. I’ll be keeping this one basic with the all time favorite Jeans, White and sneakers. This is a classic look that I love to play with time and time again. It is the perfect blanket canvas to add too. For a night out with girls a satin camisole paired with high heel a clutch and you have glammed up look. Or you can keep it casual with a white sweater and Adidas like I did for coffee with your favorite girlfriend (this day it was my daughter).
As the weekend approached the temps were dropping so it was a lot cooler when I started my day. After being in the house all week with my daughter I needed a break and coffee. I pulled on a light weight sweater and added my blush pink tassel earrings to elevate this basic jeans and sweater combo. I kept life simple and dressed my daughter in the same combo so we could get out the door quickly. She was happy to be out & about while I was excited about not having to make my coffee.
We stopped by Press & Going Coffee so I could enjoy a cup of their Nutella latte and she munched on a chocolate croissant. After we drove through fat village and stopped to watch train passing by on the tracks and took a few photos. There are so many amazing wall murals that you want to stop at each one to grab a photo.
I wanted to document at least a small part of my causal daily mom style so that you too can get inspired to get out and get coffee. That does not require your child strapped into a car seat while you place your order at drive thru window.
I am also saving by taking my own photos as a stay home mom blogger that also means photo shoots with kiddos around, right? So why not make it a matching mommy and me outfit!
This is real life me attempting to get a photo of my outfit with keeping an eye on a active toddler who wants to have a rock be a part of our photo shoot.
Keeping it basic is key to my daily mom style, I hope that you enjoy this denim look and the next couple of denim daily mom looks I’ll be sharing.
