Disney Play Date Celebrate #NowMoreThanEver with Us!

Last week Rian and Neve go to celebrate #NowMoreThanEver with a Disney playdate party pack, Thanks, Disney! We were recently sent all these amazing party items so that we could host our very first Disney playdate party with some of our friends and family. Our Disney playdate party pack came fully loaded with Mickey theme decor and games, cups, plates, food and even a Pinata.

While the kids were away over the prior weekend, I got to work setting up our Disney playdate party.  Using the Disney insipred decorations I created a snack and bevearge station.  Which made it easy for the kids, big & little, to help themsleves.  Using the princess coustume and princess Ariel doll from JakksToys that were included in the Disney playdate party kit.  I was able to create a magical little area for the princesses to come play too!

Snacks & Beverages Station

Since we only had a few friends over for our Disney Playdate I wanted to keep the snack and beverages simple.  So over the weekend, I made some Princess and Minnie inspired pretzel rods for the kids as a sweet & salty treat.  They were really simple to recreate after some Pinterest insipration.  Using Syder’s preztel rods, Wilton candy melts in white and black, and Great Value Sprinkle mix.  I was able to get the candy melt and sprinkle mix at Walmart.  Our Disney inirpried preztel rods were easy and inexpensive treat idea that can even be done with the kids.

We were even sent over this fun popcorn cake from Popped Passion to have during our Disney playdate party.  These fun popcorn cake can be customized with your favorite treats, from dried fruits, nuts and candy finihing it off with chocolate drizzle.  In between games the kids snacked and it was amusing to watch them pick off the Swedish fish from this tasty popcorn cake.

My kids love gummies and one of our favorites organic options like we typically have around the house are the blackforest gummies.  Using a clear tray from the Dollar store I filled it up with some gummies and let Mickey serve them to our friends.

Games & Activities

In order to keep the kids entertained throughout our Disney playdate party, we were sent a few game & activities.  One of the Disney insipred games was the Fab Fortune Teller, I loved making these fortune tellers as a kid and knew that the kids would enjoy them too.  My son and I even played it a few times the evening before and he laughed each time he got a new character.  Not to mention it’s a great way to teach colors and numbers.  He would spell and count along with as I went through each color or number he choose.

Another fun Disney insipred game that the kids played was pin the nose on Mickey!  I wish I had some of these fun games for my son’s Mickey theme birthday last year.  It was so much fun even I joined in.  You can see that I managed to pin my Mickey nose onto someone else’s nose.

The Disney play date party wouldn’t be complete without a Pinata, goo thing we received this really cool Mickey Mouse Pinata in our party package.  Each kids grabbed a string and pulled to release more gummies and fun Disney goodies.

Princess Tea

When we first received our Disney Playdate party box, my dauther immediaty put on the Pricness costume, from Jakks.  So for my daughter who is the true princess, I created a little area for her to have tea with some of her Disney Princess friends.  Princess Ariel, Jasmine, and Nala joined us for some goldfish and juice boxes.  She put together a minnie puzzle and chatted with each doll while she served them their gold fish & “tea” (really capri sun juice pouches).

Playdate Party

Our first Disney Playdate party was s sucess!  I really ejnoyed using all the decorations that were gifted to us to create a magical expereince this week.  Recently I saw a local party planner hide Mickey ears through a beauty and beast gender reveal.  I thought that was such a cool idea that I tried to do the same thing during our Disney playdate party.  Can you spot them? Leave me a comment below and let me know how many you find.
