Since becoming parents most Saturdays we are lucky if we get a chance to head out to brunch alone. We spend them driving kids to weekend practices, birthday parties, or some kid-related event. One rare Saturday we found ourselves kid-free and HUNGRY! So we did something we had not done in a long time we took a “Sunday” drive on a Saturday to have brunch together, at Beaker & Gray located in Wynwood.
We never really planned to end up at Beaker & Gray, however, after driving for an hour we stopped. You can’t miss the Beaker & Gray silver caravan looking building, it stood out so we had to stop. You will not be disappointed, because we enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend that the next time you are driving down Miami Ave, you stop for brunch at Beaker & Gray. Saturday or Sunday between 11 am and 4 pm you can enjoy drinks and oversized brunch items that will leave you needing a nap right after. Perfect for when you find yourself without the kids or parental responsibilities.
Located in the Wynwood neighborhood, 2637 N. Miami Ave, Miami FL 33127, Beaker & Gray is a wonderful space to let the hours slip away over drinks and delicious spins on your favorite American dishes.

Brunch Food
Not your typical Croque Madame, this one at Beaker & Gray had my husband’s name written all over it. Oxtail, gruyere, sourdough topped with a sunny side egg. I am sure my husband could probably have this every day. But honestly, it is that AMAZING!
I choose, the Waffle Panini, stuffed with pork rillette, gruyere cheese it came with a side of this mouth-watering mustard maple syrup. After no sleep being two months postpartum, I dunno what it was if it was the full night of sleep that I had gotten the night before or the drink. But I ate the entire thing, no leftovers if you know me I always have leftovers.
Beaker and Gray is one of my top picks for brunch in Miami the quality of the food is top notch, the staff had the best recommendations and the atmosphere is great. The open footprint of the family style dining area follows so well. After being in construction for many years the industrial details of a space really speak to me and I fell in love of their design elements that mix the industrial with contemporary. With over sized large light fixtures and hints of gold accents everywhere the dining space is warm and inviting. There is also a outdoor eating space that is wonderful on a cooler Miami evening. It is the perfect date night spot to people watch on Miami Ave.
After being stuck in the house for over two months after baby number two. Brunch at Beaker and Gray was a breath of fresh away for this postpartum mama. Thank you, to my husband for this wonderful brunch day date at Beaker and Gray. I, we, really needed this lunch break away from the little ones. The food and company were the best. I would love to know if you check out Beaker and Gray.
