Do you struggle with Instagram post ideas?

If you are reading this post then are you all out of ideas on what to post on the gram?  I can relate. Back when I first began using instagram I had no clue what types of content to post, what captions to write or when to post.  That is when I turned to the internet doing my own google research.  I wanted to know what mommy bloggers were posting on their instagram’s that would help me connect to my own audience.  In short a majority of what I found was related to mommy blog post ideas, nothing specific to social media or instagram content. But honestly, I was not posting frequently to my blog and I had a few of my own blog topics that I wanted to write.  My main focus at that time was to create a connection and grow my Instagram account so that my readers would want to visit my blog.

That is why I am excited to offer you twenty instagram content ideas that you can easily create or re-purpose digital content in your camera.  My mission is to help fellow mom lifestyle bloggers, influencers, and mompreneurs. This is why I have personally created this list of mommy specific instagram content. Solely because when I was looking I couldn’t find any direct ideas that matched my community of moms.  I want to be that inspiring force that helps you grow and connect to your growing audience.  I know first hand how coming up, creating and posting interesting content daily on your instagram feed can be exhausting and cause anxiety.  Here are twenty mommy related Instagram content ideas that you can post to your feed to continue to stay engaged and connected to your growing audience!

Recent Mommy Purchase

We moms are always shopping so this one could easily be anything you recently purchased in the last month for the kids.  These could be products you use to make your day easier or add value to your data to day.  For example a specific type kid friendly water bottle, baby teething toy, or mom beauty product.  Why I like these kind of post is because they can be use to drive traffic to a blog post where you elaborate on more mommy purchases.  Instead of posting a photo of all the items related to the blog post you can post a photo of just one product or of that product in action.

Kids OOTD

If you are anything like me then your most recent photo in your camera reel.  Is probably of a cute kid dressed looking extra adorable.  I encourage you to post that photo of your little ones outfit of the day from XYZ store or brand.  Why I like this type of IG content?  OOTD can be used as a recurring Instagram post. Especially if you are looking to create a regular posting schedule.  It also eliminates the guess work on what to post on a specific day.  It also gives your audience something to look forward to like a fashion Friday kids OOTD.

Mommy Workspace

This could be a overhead shot of you at your desk or you sitting on the floor of your kids playroom surrounded by toys.  The key is to make this your own with wherever you are working from your home, outdoors, playroom.  This is great for all of those moms who are juggling working from home while caring for their children during the pandemic.
