Are you a new mom? Or a local Miami Mom? a Caribbean mom? Then you know that books are going be on your list of baby items. But can also be expensive when things like diapers are more of a priority.  That I am super excited to share with you this amazing local initiative that helps take the worry about finding great books for our kids. And it is totally FREE!  Down below I have included all the details about The Children’s Trust Book and this link for you sign up your little ones for free books!

The Children’s Trust Book Club is a FREE program offered to children from birth through their fifth
birthday living in Miami-Dade County. Book Club members receive a new book by mail every month in
English or Spanish along with a guide for parents that contains activities, information and suggestions on
how to share the book with their children. Books include classics, award-winners and picture books to
engage children at the appropriate level. All books are selected specifically to help children develop their
early reading skills for school readiness and encourage the love of reading.

Our goal is to raise awareness of the Children’s Trust Book Club as a valuable community resource here
in Miami-Dade County. Our aim is to educate parents of color on the importance of teaching children to read before
starting school.

This summer I will be reading our Children’s Trust books that we receive in the mail.  While on our road trip follow me on @CincityStyleEdition on Instagram to read along with myself and the kids.  Don’t forget to share with me what’s on your summer reading list.
