As we are nearing our fourth month into social distancing during the Corona Virus pandemic. Getting together for quality time with friends has gotten pretty creative. Many of us are having all types of zoom parties to stay sane and connected. This past Friday night I was able to get together with some local ladies for a informative zoom spa night in.
That is why when I was asked to host a Spa Night In for some of my friends I jumped at the idea. There has been a rise in the Corana virus cases here is South Florida. Which means right now in Fort Laudedale going to the spa and enjoying time with our girlfriends is out of the question. A zoom quarnatine Spa Night In was a great way for me to bring all these wonderful woman I had met through this online space together. We could laugh, pamper ourselves, and dissconnect from the crazniess of the world around us. I was excited to be getting together with girlfriends but this wasn’t your typical friday night. There wouldn’t be food or drinks and If you know me, then you know that I cannot host an event without food or drinks. I had to figure out a personal way to make my guest feel special. I had recently purcahse a MOM box from a local vendor and thought how wonderful the idea was. I used her MOM box as my ispiration to create my own Quarantine Spa Night In Gift box.
I would not consider myself the ultimate girly girl. However I do enjoy receiving and giving gifts. Especially thoughtfully curated gifts that are dainty and femine. These kind of gifts have my name written all over them. Keeping my quarantine spa night box simple and within a budget the entire box was under $10 to create. Purchasing the white boxes from amazon I was able to fill them including a sweet treat and beverage. The miniature desserts are from Hailey Pancakes a local Fort Lauderdale baker specializing in custom cakes and desserts. Along side the minitare desserts I included a miniature bottle of Barefoot Bubbly Rose. Wanting to suprise the ladies with their quarantine spa boxes in time for Friday’s zoom call. I spent Thursday morning delivering my Quarantine Spa boxes to my mommy and fashionista blogger babes. It was such a sweet surpise for them during a time when we cannot spend time with one another. That night we were able to sip on Barefoot bubbly and learn more about clean beauty products offered by Beauty Counter.
Disconnecting for that hour away from our kids, our daily life, and the saddness filling the world around us helped brigthen my evening. I had fun putting together the quarantine spa night boxes for these ladies. We spent the evening sipping bubbly while enjoying Haileys Pancakes sweet dessert on a Friday night in. It mighy have not been a typical girls Friday night however during a time when we are stay home and staying safe for each other. Why not have more zoom ladies night in?
