Red, White & Blue :: Ashley Mason LA Denim – Four Fourth of July Outfits

Happy 4th of July!!

I hope that you all are enjoying this fun holiday weekend with some delicious barbecue poolside, popping fireworks, cold drinks and lots of red, white, and blue! As for me, I’ll be doing all of the above right here in one of these fun casual Fourth of July outfits I’ve styled.

They have been in business for 3 short years and are based in Los Angeles. Presently, Ashley Mason brand features four denim lines, @prosperitydenim is a more contemporary high-end line of denim that you can find in Nordstrom, I was also excited to learn that they even have a denim line for little girls @glossandglitterdenim (can’t wait to get a pair for neve) and lastly is their most classic denim @madeinbluedenim (coming soon).  Since they are a fairly new brand you can follow along their journey here. They will also be launching their new website soon, where we will be able to see and hopefully shop these thoughtfully designed denim jeans.

Since I discovered Ashley Mason LA denim brand I have been obsessed with their jeans. If you know me then you know I’m in jeans literally every day. Especially their denim, you might have seen me in them on several occasions on Instagram, that’s how much I love this denim brand. They fit snug from the moment I slide my legs into them. I recently did a closet clear out jeans was the number one item that I donated, sold or could fit back into after two kids. So, ladies, you all know how hard it is to find a great pair of denim jeans. You’re not alone if you’ve gone through a ton of denim jeans like myself. I can honestly say stop searching cause I may have discovered the most comfortable brand of denim thus far.

When you have a petite frame like myself then you also know how much harder shopping for denim can be. I’ve always found that jeans material can be too stiff, are either too long, don’t fit well in the thighs, or not tapered around the ankle. Not these Ashley Mason LA denim jeans they fit my petite frame in all the right places. Typically I find something I dislike when first putting a pair of jeans, not these. As I mentioned, after reaching out to Ashley Mason LA they sent me two pairs of their premium denim jeans, a distressed cameo, and these red skinny jeans.  As soon as I saw the red pair I immediately thought of the Fourth of July and how I could style them for the holiday weekend.

Although, I will be probably chasing my littles around the pool during this fun holiday I didn’t want to forgo my style.  That’s why I love a great pair of denim jeans they are so versatile on what you can style them with.  With a few simple changes to my top, shoes, and accessories and I was able to create four very different outfits with these red denim jeans.

Depending on the type of gal you are if you like denim then you will really enjoy how soft these Ashley Mason premium denim skinny jeans are.  Since I am petite finding skinny jeans show off my petite frame is very hard.  These by Ashley Mason are some of the best petite denim I have found in a long time.  They are cropped right at the ankle and the waist felt true to size, I was sent a size 3.  The material as I mentioned was soft and very comfortable, stretchy lightweight denim jeans.  Not only will I be wearing them this fourth of July, but I can see myself wearing them again through the rest of this year.

All of the accessories and shoes were items that were already in my wardrobe so I kept with the simple color palette of red, white and blue for the Fourth of July holiday to come up with these outfits.  I styled four simple outfits that will take you through all your July the fourth celebrations.  From daytime brunch mimosa with your girls to fireworks under the stars with someone special, I’ve got you covered. But since I will be celebrating this Fourth of July with the kids I’ll probably opt for one of my options that includes flats.  Because mom wants in on some of the firework fun later!

Outfit number one above left is an evening date night look.  So I knew that the I need a pair of heels (most of which I retired when I had kids) but I did keep these JustFab white spiked heels that I have had for a couple of years now.  White shoes have been a must for me, I have a few pairs, but these add the perfect element of edgy and sexy to an evening look.  To complete the look I paired the jeans with a solid blue top, and H & M texture peplum jacket some fun earrings and a clutch with gold accents.  In outfit two, on the right, I went for a fun fourth of July starry look with this nude star printed armless top, textured straw flats, retro red sunnies, and cute red wristlet if this doesn’t scream FOURTH of July brunch, then I don’t know what does.

Above left is a casual daytime look that will take you to brunch with the family, this might be my favorite outfit. For this look, I paired a white eyelet H&M cold shoulder top (I found on sale for only $5) with the Ashley Mason Denim, blue & white bow old navy wedges, and straw crossbody.   What I love about this look is the $3 heart sunnies from Target dollar spot, they make this casual family brunch look fun and flirty!   On the left is outfit number four, I went for another casual look I paired this strip fringe off the shoulder top that is apart of a set with the Ashley Mason skinny denim jeans, flat white sneakers, and round straw clutch for some fourth of July bbq poolside.
