Shade Statement :: Petite Sunglasses for Petite Faces

Sunglasses are my number one favorite accessory to use when creating different looks through out the year.  I love them in all shape and sizes, over the years I have tried my share of statement shades.  Finding a pair that is flattering to my smaller petite face shape has been challeneging.  It is important that the frame of the sunglasses fit across your face and on the brige of your nose.  If the lens are too tall or wide the sunglasses will appear to overwhelm your small face.  Here are a few things that I like to consider when searching for the right pair of sunglasses to fit your small face. A light weight frame, lens size, and temple “arm” length  are all things I am looking for when shopping for sunglasses.

The frame measurements can be helpful, especially for narrow and smaller framed faces.  If I am totally honest in the past I hadn’t really taken into considerating the frame measuremnts when it came my sunglasses. I relied soley on trying them on for fit and comfort. However, recently I was sent over a petite sunglass sizing guide from Eshne. Here are the measurements that I determenided fit my petite face length of the temple- 145, brige-22, and lens width- 49.  If you would like to find out what fame size best fits your small face head on over to Eshne to view their petite sunglass guide, here.

Adriana the owner was so kind to send over some her petite sunglasses from Eshne for me to try out.  You can see one of the more fun pairs I was sent over that I ended up wearing on a recent famil vacation, here.  These tortise shell colored sunglasses that are pictured here have been my go to pair on the daily.  They have a light weight frame, do not have the plastic bridge gaurds that typically get tangled in my curls, and have this really unique design.  Although these did slide off my face at first I was able to adjust the temple tips to fit more snuggly around my ear lobes.  By running warm water over the temple tip and rounding the curve more with my thumb.  This little trick has helped me with my regualr eyeglasses as well, hope you find it helpful too!

Another really beautiful peice that I was gifed in danity aqua blue bracelet.  This bracelet has two things I love, the feminie danity style and an easy adjustable clasp. This is such a must for a mom who has no time to fumble with a traditonal clasp.  I am morely to reach to for this particuar bracelet because I know that I won’t be wasting precious time putting it on.  So ladies if you find you are looking for stylish jewlery that is also petite mom friendly.  Then I suggest you shop some of these really chic fun peices from a Eshne Petite.
